Diagnostic Hearing Tests

The Audiogram The audiogram is simply a graph of your test results. The "o" represents results from you right ear; the "x" represents your left. Pitch or tone rises as you move from left to right. More volume is necessary for you to hear tones the farther down the audiogram the x's and o's are placed.

Hearing aids are programmed on a computer for fine tuning.

Your audiologist will discuss your unique hearing loss, needs and concerns in order to determine which hearing aid model and make will work best for you. Hearing aids today are programmed on a computer in our office so that we can fine tune the hearing aid settings to best assist you. This process can take several visits and we work closely with you and your family to get optimal results.
